Women of Techno & Electronic That You Should Know
BY KAREN SILVA
If you're an avid concert-goer, like myself, I'm sure you're missing the feeling of entering a venue and grabbing a drink and heading towards the barricade and becoming friends with the people who are also anxiously waiting to see their favorite band, musician, or dj. You can still get that feeling when you find a new dj to rock out while exercising, writing, or cleaning the house - anything to stay sane these days and what better way with some very talented djs.
We adore all things rock but who says you can't have fun exploring other amazing genres!
Below is a list of our favorite Women of Techno & Electronic That You Should Know:

5. Daisy O'Dell
Daisy is an American award-winning music producer, curator, and DJ who is known for being behind the decks at official after parties for Grammys, Coachella, and beyond. I first discovered Daisy O'Dell through happenstance, first through a band Deluka who I randomly saw live and then through a JBL commercial that featured Daisy spinning a remix of Aussie fave, Cut Copy. Seeing Daisy spin at another music afterparty event was the be-all and end-all of becoming one of my favorite djs.

6. Tokimonsta
Jennifer Lee also known as TOKiMONSTA is an American record producer and DJ from Los Angeles. Lee is by far a huge admirable DJ as she was diagnosed with Moyamoya disease in late 2015, she continued to seek solace in music and pursue her passion and love for it. After undergoing two brain surgeries, she briefly lost language and comprehension skills. Once these were regained, Lee eventually began work on her 2017 album Lune Rouge, despite not being able to fully understand music.
