On Saturday, January 23, musician Lauren Monroe and her husband, Rick Allen of Def Leppard, will be hosting the Big Love Benefit Concert, a virtual concert event of which all proceeds will be donated to Sweet Relief Musician’s Fund to benefit musicians and music industry workers who are currently facing hardships as a result of the COVID-19 global pandemic.

The Big Love Benefit Concert will feature performances by Monroe and Allen, as well as Big Love Band, Clayton Q, and Tammi Brown and the Big Love Choir; appearances by Billy Idol, Tommy Shaw of Styx, Wynonna Judd, Miles Kennedy, Matt Sorum, and Allman Betts Band; and a special message from Bret Michaels.

Ticket prices for the event are $14.99 for access to the webcast or $25.00 for webcast access and a Meet & Greet with Monroe and Allen after the show via Zoom, and tickets may be purchased either for yourself or gifted to someone else. The webcast will begin at 6 PM PST / 9 PM EST and will be available for ticketholders to view for 48 hours following the event.

In addition to the show itself, there will also be Big Love merchandise available for purchase and the ability to participate in a memorabilia auction on the Big Love Benefit website.

Monroe says she plans for this benefit concert to be one of many to come in the future, and until live events are able to be held safely in venues once again, they will be held virtually.

“We need to lead the way in teaching people how to love one another,” Monroe said.
