Women Who Rock x Spare Change Tip Jar Project
Women Who Rock is teaming up with Spare Change to create the Spare Change Tip Jar Project, which will activate women around the world to raise funds for women’s health research. Spare Change is a community of musicians who raise funds and awareness for their favorite nonprofit causes using the Spare Change Tip Jar, a connected device that can receive both physical and digital donations with the tap of a phone.
This partnership will ambassador artists with their own Spare Change Tip Jars to collect tips at their shows to benefit Magee-Womens Research Institute, the nation’s largest research institute dedicated solely to women’s health research. Each artist will also have a unique donation page that links to the larger campaign page to show their collective power as they strive to “Rock the Future of Women’s Health.”
“Since Spare Change began, we’ve been working with musicians to build, track, and grow their charitable impact,” said Josh Corcoran, founder of Spare Change. “With the development of the tip jar, we have an opportunity to unify a group of ‘Women Who Rock’ in support of Magee-Womens Research Institute. We can’t think of a better team to be launching this pilot with, and we are so excited to watch the collective results.”
