Let’s Go Girls!

The CMT Awards were all about the ladies last night! We saw some out of this world pairings like Carly Pearce and Gwen Stafani performing No Doubt’s “Just A Girl”, Wynonna Judd and Ashley McBryde performing The Judd’s version of “I Want to Know What Love Is”, and Alanis Morissette with Lainey Wilson, Ingrid Andress, Morgan Wade, and Madeline Edwards performing Morissette’s “You Oughta Know”. The CMT Equal Play Award recognizes artists who are vocal advocates for elevating diverse and underrepresented voices in country music and went to Shania Twain with an enthusiastic intro from her “new bestie” Megan Thee Stallion.
