Meet Women Who Rock’s 2025 Benefit Concert Beauty Bar Presenting Sponsor | Aesthetic Plastic Surgery of Pittsburgh

Drumroll, please! This year, Women Who Rock is proud to introduce Aesthetic Plastic Surgery of Pittsburgh as the 2025 Beauty Bar presenting sponsor. This team of diligent and accomplished women provide a plethora of treatments to help women match how they look on the outside to how they feel on the inside at two convenient locations across Pittsburgh. Wanting to learn more about how Aesthetic Plastic Surgery of Pittsburgh maintains such outstanding service, we sat down for an interview with practice manager, Natalie Stright, to learn what makes Aesthetic Plastic Surgery of Pittsburgh a cut above the rest.

Tell us about Aesthetic Plastic Surgery of Pittsburgh and your role at the practice

Aesthetic Plastic Surgery is a facility for surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures led by Dr. Liang, who is, in my opinion, more than a surgeon. He's an artist. His dad was a surgeon and his mom was an artist. He has this hybrid ability that makes him this amazing person, and I think that's what sets his work apart from everybody else.

As far as my role, I oversee the daily operations of both the surgical and med spa. My job is to make sure that every patient who interacts with our office has a positive experience which requires the appropriate staffing. You have to be smart and capable to deliver world class customer service, so it's important to me to have a good relationship with everybody who works here. Everything I do stems from what Dr. Liang has taught me. One of those things is life is all about relationships.

Other than you and Dr. Liang, who sounds incredible, who else comprises the team at Aesthetic Plastic Surgery of Pittsburgh? It sounds like you have a really great team!

We do! We have hardworking women who support other hardworking women. We are made up of a group of Pennsylvania nurse practitioners and estheticians, all of which are highly trained in their field, but most importantly to me, it's a group of women who have had some experience in the service industry. That's a deal breaker for me. You can have all the letters in the world behind your name, but you have to have experience working with the general public to sit at my table.

Speaking of having world class customer service, what kind of services does the practice offer and what types of issues do they help remedy?

The office offers a lot of non-invasive procedures, from injectables to non-invasive skin tightening and anti-aging treatments. Dr. Liang really does a lot of research, and he wants to see white papers before we add [treatments] to the practice.

What I think is really important is that it's more about knowing when to start the treatments. We do a full medical history, which is required, and thoughtfully reviewed with each patient to be sure what we are doing is appropriate and safe. Everybody in the office has the resources to get patients the right specialist, if necessary, before we treat a patient. Dr. Liang always says, your body is the only thing you own, so take care of it.

It’s no wonder that you've been consistently recognized by Newsweek for having outstanding services. What do you think sets you apart from other plastic surgery practices and med spas?

We have a physician on staff, so he is physically present in both of our offices. He's not in a different state, signing off charts, collecting the cash. He is here. I think [people would] be surprised if they did their research, that most offices don't have that. It might not mean anything to you until you have a problem, but when you do have a complication, especially as a patient, you're going to be happy that you have a medical director who's physically on staff and is present.

I also think [we] deliver a different level of customer service. If there's a complication and it's happened where you're coming in at nine o'clock on a Friday night because somebody's having an issue or a concern, my girls are rolling up. I truly believe it's the work ethic that sets us apart.

Let’s switch gears a little bit here. This year, Aesthetic Plastic Surgery of Pittsburgh will be the presenting sponsor at the Women Who Rock Benefit Concert’s Beauty Bar. Why is being a part of this event important to the practice and what does it mean to you?

Women's health is a big part of what we do. Everybody kind of has this misconception of this as just glamorous, ‘oh, well, all we do is Botox’. No, it's surgery [care]. [For example], we have Lisa, who's here. She is a permanent makeup artist. She does a lot of tattooing for patients who have had breast cancer or maybe had to have surgery.

Dr. Liang wouldn't be involved in [Women Who Rock] if it wasn't about healthcare research. It's way deeper than just the superficial things that we do. When somebody trusts you enough to walk through the door, that's a big deal, and you want to make sure that they feel appreciated, that they chose us. Whatever makes you feel good, let's do it. That's what these four walls are all about. Let's get you to feel like the best version of yourself. It's important for us to be involved, because we actually are women who rock.

How do you believe Aesthetic Plastic Surgery empowers women?

It's about being able to match how you feel on the inside with how you feel on the outside. I think it's about [how] we all support one another. There are no limits, there's no boundaries as to who we can help.
