Melinda and The Night Sky is an American rock and blues band born in Pittsburgh, PA. The group builds a foundation of funk into the earth so Melinda's voice can soar. Just as The Rolling Stones came in the wake of Muddy Waters, Melinda and the Night Sky pick up where Janis Joplin and Tina Turner left off.
You'd be forgiven if the band made you think of Daisy Jones & The Six... but unlike that fictional band, MATNS is real. The band has shared the stage with iconic acts like the legendary B.B. King Blues Band, Sue Foley, Lez Zeppelin, and in 2020 Melinda and the Night Sky collaborated on an exclusive beer with North Country Brewing, which won the prestigious ARTBREW award.
Melinda and the Night Sky's recent single "Say What You Mean" has become a staple in 91.3 FM WYEP's radio rotation, and features drummer Dennis Garner, Skip Sanders on keys, and Marc Reisman on harmonica.
Melinda is also the Founder of Women Who Rock™.
